From July 22 to 24, 2016, the annual “Rainbow” LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) forum was held in Tsaghkadzor, initiated by Pink Armenia.
During the opening of the forum, excerpts were shown from the documentary Listen to Me: Untold Stories Beyond Hatred, which tells the stories of LGBT people in Armenia. The film is set to premiere in September 2016.
At the opening, participants were given a comics book based on the story of the previous forum.
During the forum, topics related to the LGBT community and movement were discussed, along with plans for future activities.
Many participants highlighted the importance of involving members and allies of the LGBT community living abroad in supporting the LGBT movement in Armenia.
The event was attended by 50 people from the LGBT community and their allies.
