Rainbow Forum
Dear LGBT+ community and parents, activists and allies,
In 2026, we are once again organizing one of the most important events of the LGBT+ movement, the 11th Rainbow Forum, under the theme: “Compliance or Resistance”
The worsening climate of war and repression in the world and the region often destroy the safe spaces of the LGBT+ community, forcing people either to resist or to leave their countries, often seeking safety in Armenia. Meanwhile, elections are approaching in Armenia, triggering a new wave of manipulations. At the same time, anti-LGBT+ and anti-gender rhetoric continues to target women, trans, non-binary, and other non-heteronormative people, as well as defenders of the rights of women and LGBT+ persons, restricting their opportunities to live with dignity.
This year’s forum is about our response.
We will create spaces to discuss challenges, rediscover the voice of our struggle, support one another, share stories, and celebrate our strength and solidarity.
The 11th Rainbow Forum will take place on May 15–16, 2026, in Yerevan.

The Rainbow Forum is an important annual event in Armenia and the largest queer activist gathering that brings together the LGBT+ community and allies, activists and human rights defenders, professionals and parents.
The Rainbow Forum creates a safe and inclusive space where you can meet diverse people, exchange knowledge, and find new friends and allies. The forum includes discussions, workshops, and presentations on topics such as human rights, mental health, activism, social and cultural issues, and more.
It is a platform where participants can raise issues that matter to them, be heard, and take part in discussions about meaningful change for the LGBT+ community in Armenia. The forum offers an opportunity to hear from and learn from experienced activists, human rights defenders, and allies who have already contributed to advancing equality and justice.
