From January 18 to January 21, 2023, the annual planning took place with the participation of the staff members of Pink’s Yerevan and regional offices.
During the planning, the staff discussed current issues related to the organization’s activities.
Looking back on the achievements and challenges of the past year, we have done 2023 annual planning based on the development and improvement of Pink’s strategic directions. Pink will continue executing in four main strategic paths, which are as follows:
LGBT community and movement empowerment,
Observing public perceptions on LGBT issues and changing attitudes in society,
Advocacy and human rights protection of LGBT people,
Ensuring the sustainability and capacity building of the organization.
During the annual planning, we discussed the need for social and cultural events aimed at developing the potential of the LGBT community and represented the organization’s new communication strategy. We also revalued the international meetings expected in 2023, during which Pink will have the opportunity to organize advocacy work to raise awareness on issues of LGBT people in Armenia. In the end, we discussed situational risks and opportunities and further actions to develop employees’ capacities.
Pink continues its activities and tries to ensure the well-being of LGBT people in Armenia. Pink’s annual planning provides an opportunity to discuss the existing problems and options thoroughly, based on which the organization’s future activities are built.
