Pride Camp about relationships and consent

The 4th annual Pride Camp was organized as part of Pride Month, with this year’s theme focusing on relationships and consent.

The camp brought together 16 LGBT+ individuals and supporters from Yerevan and regions. The theme allowed for the inclusion of queer and same-sex couples, who shared their experiences and thoughts about relationships. Participants also had the opportunity to ask psychologists questions about relationships. The camp’s agenda was filled with interesting exercises, interactive discussions, and some free time.

Pride Camp continues to be a safe place for the community to connect, socialize, and share experiences. LGBT+ relationships are rarely discussed publicly, so there are very few visible examples in our society. Therefore, it is up to us to learn and create a model of positive relationships for ourselves, and when we succeed, to share that model with others.
