March 31st is the International Trans Day of Visibility. Various awareness-raising activities are carried out within the framework of this day. The day provides an opportunity for trans people and their supporters, to raise the issues of the trans community, discuss viable solutions, talk and educate people about what it means to be a trans person, and how to address common stereotypes by breaking them down through a variety of information materials.
On this day, it is particularly important to share stories of accomplishments, as the trans community is often underrepresented. Thus, this day allows trans people to reclaim space and be visible, share their experiences, talk about important questions and so on.
This year, Pink has produced a short film about a talented trans woman,going over some interesting topics, as well as sharing her personal experience, which serves as an important example and shows just how diverse the trans community is.
