“Become the Voice of Change” – a three-day training on communication and campaign planning
From July 25 to 27, we organized a three-day training focused on strategic communication and capacity building. The training brought together activists engaged in the LGBT+ movement and individuals interested in human rights protection. It served both as a platform for developing professional skills and as a creative space for shaping public campaign ideas.
Participants had the opportunity to discuss the nuances and specificities of strategic communication in a safe and inclusive environment, strengthen their public communication skills, and deepen their knowledge of effective audience engagement and influence.
The training also served as a preparatory stage for a paid fellowship program, through which participants will have the opportunity to apply with their developed campaign ideas and implement them during the upcoming LGBT+ History Month events.
Throughout the training, a range of campaign ideas were developed—aimed at representing the values and goals of the movement, raising awareness of current challenges, and increasing public visibility. The training also fostered the development of participatory leadership and strengthened community engagement.
This initiative is of strategic importance not only for the implementation of Pink’s mission but also for advancing the goals of its supporting partner organizations. By empowering local activists and encouraging grassroots initiative, it becomes possible to build a more visible, resilient, and impactful movement—both in Armenia and across the region.
