The 2nd Armenian Conference on Gender Studies and Sexuality

22-09-2025

Topics such as gender equality and representation, socio-political and cultural perceptions, legislative and social mechanisms to decrease discrimination, and the mental health and rights of LGBT+ individuals are deeply connected to the emotional well-being, identity, and resilience of individuals and communities.

The 2nd Armenian Conference on Gender Studies and Sexuality will bring together mental health professionals, researchers, and social policy experts to explore the ways gender and identity intersect with psychological health, access to care, and social justice. The conference will spotlight emerging trends, identify systemic gaps in support structures, and strengthen collaborative networks to develop inclusive and innovative responses.

This conference is especially relevant for specialists in psychological counseling, psychotherapy, social work, public health, and research. It offers an opportunity to:

  • deepen professional knowledge in the fields of gender and sexual identity,
  • understand local and global challenges linked to mental health issues caused by discrimination,
  • learn from experiences and practical approaches from different countries in providing psychological support services,
  • foster interdisciplinary dialogue among professionals and researchers.

Save the date։ join us in Yerevan on November 29 to connect with a professional community dedicated to advancing mental health and human rights.
